In communication, we can get into a misunderstanding that can lead to conflicts between the parties. Often, people agree on issues, but they can put different meanings into the terminology of concepts. There can be cultural differences, a lack of an understanding of the meaning behind the concepts, and other reasons. Therefore, it can be helpful to stop the discussion if it gets heated and dig a bit into the concepts and their meaning. It is a true measure of strength to stop and have everybody discuss the concepts at hand to make sure that there is a common understanding of them and that the participants are talking about the same thing.
Here is a list of concepts that, when understood together, can ensure you’re on the same page in your discussions. This clarity leads to meaningful and authentic conversations. And remember, it’s okay to agree to disagree if you don’t see eye to eye with the other party.
Do not waste valuable time in debate when you can have uplifting conversations about the beauty of life.
